Experience

HighBlockBitV — Hong Kong licensed virtual-asset and securities platform (SFC Type 1 / 4 / 9)2026-01 — Present
Product & Research · Hong Kong
  • Forward-deployed across the exchange's business lines: embedded with securities, VA trading, OTC, and operations teams to turn business problems into shipped product and internal AI systems.
  • Authored the perpetual-futures PRD end to end — three-price system (index / mark / last), tiered margin, funding-rate mechanics, liquidation waterfall, ADL ranking, and the full formula set — built against the SFC's 2026 derivatives framework, which restricts reference assets to VAs already tradable on the platform's own spot market.
  • Designed the OTC desk and its back office: multi-LP RFQ quote engine, order state machine, three-layer risk controls, settlement idempotency, and the FIX / REST / WebSocket surface. Modelled the business case for an agency-matching structure with third-party licensed custody, which reaches the market without tying up platform capital.
  • Specified the institutional account architecture — omnibus and segregated structures benchmarked against IBKR, HashKey, and OSL — including the cross-system impact assessment for retrofitting it onto a live retail platform.
  • Ran the five-year total-cost comparison between competing brokerage-system vendors and made the selection recommendation that set the securities-side build.
  • Built the product org's internal AI stack: agent workflows, a private RAG layer over the internal knowledge base, an AI-to-Figma design pipeline, reusable prompt/skill SOPs, and a customer-service agent demo now in internal use.
  • Feasibility research across RWA tokenisation (tokenised gold, private equity, fixed income), staking, custody and TCSP structures, market-making and matching-engine design — 110+ research documents, PRDs, and system specs in the first seven months.
